The yarn used for this top is manufactured within the EU.

Your item will be custom made by hand upon reception of your order. Turnaround time is 1-3 weeks, not including shipping. You will be contacted when your item is ready for sending.

Laundering

When necessary, your top can be handwashed in cold water using gentle detergent. Do not use fabric softener when washing your top.

DO NOT put your top in the dryer, wring it dry, or rub it when wet as this can damage the fabric.

Your top should always be dried flat.

If it simply needs a bit of freshening up, I recommend giving it a pass with the steamer and allowing it to hang in fresh air.

 

Storage

Knitted and crocheted clothing should always be folded and stored flat. Do not hang your knitted garment for an extended period of time as this will result in loss of shape.

 

Pilling (also known as bobbling)

'Pilling' refers to the buildups of fibres on the surface of a fabric. Pilling is normal for all items made of natural fibres, and is not a sign of poor quality or craftsmanship. It is caused by abrasion between the fibres in the yarns and other surfaces (jackets, furniture, purses, etc.).

Electric 'de-pillers' or 'fabric shavers' are inexpensive and available online and from electronics stores. They are easy to use and will give your clothing a like-new appearance. Alternativley, pills can easily be removed carefully by hand.

The Solène top has been designed as follows:

Size 1 is recommended for FR 34 - 38 (bust sizes 85-96cm)

Size 2 is recommended for FR 38 - 42 (bust sizes 96-105cm)

If your bust is not the fullest part of your upper body, please substitute the measurement of the fullest part for the bust measurement listed above when determining your size.

I measure 1m60 (5'3") and normally wear a size S or 36 FR, I am photographed wearing size 1.
