Designed to be a staple of your wardrobe, the Joséphine turtleneck is designed to be cherished for life. This sweater features a hip-length fit with extra wide sleeves to wrap you in softness. Wear over and over again, and with everything - the straight, loose fit allows it to pair perfectly with pants or skirts, or even layered over a dress. The sleeves are long and voluminous, they will keep your hands warm and can also be worn cuffed.
Knitted by hand in the round with raglan sleeves, this sweater is seamless for optimal comfort. It is composed of two yarns held together, one 100% wool and the other a mix of 75% super kid mohair and 25% mulberry silk, giving you extra warmth while remaining breathable. Joséphine is incredibly soft with a heavy, luxurious drape. Mohair gives a slightly fuzzy finish, and silk adds lustre to the finished fabric. The turtleneck, hem, and wide cuffs are knitted in twisted rib, a technique that is not only beautiful but also gives the garment stability, allowing it to hold its orignal shape forever. The Joséphine sweater takes approximately 45 hours to be knitted by hand.

Joséphine Turtleneck
Yarn 1: 100% wool
Yarn 2: 75% super kid mohair, 25% mulberry silk
The wool used for this sweater comes from Peruvian highland sheep, a crossbreed between corriedale and merino. The sheep graze on the Peruvian highlands, which contributes to the wool being extra fluffy and beautifully matte. Mulesing is not used on Peruvian highland sheep.
The second yarn used is a blend of silk, produced in China, which comes from collected, uncultivated cocoons and silk waste (meaning that the silk is cruelty free) and mohair from South Africa. The yarns are then spun and finished EU.
